I am so proud of my little dancer!! He was soooo cute in his costume and he danced beautifully! As soon as he got off stage I said "I'm so proud of you! You did so good!" and he said "Yes, I did."

OK, I am finding it super hard to concentrate today! My son has his first dance recital tomorrow night and the dress rehearsal tonight...his class is doing a ballet number to "Someday My Prince Will Come", and of course Skylar is the Prince! Actually, he had a dance recital at school, but that was more of the preschool show variety and this is more of the 'I paid $115 for your costume and invited lots of people, so please do something other than just stand there' variety (but, no pressure). LOL.

Anyway, I managed to finish my entry for the current challenge over at Candy Shoppe Designs, one of my favorite places to play! This month's prize is a FABULOUS Magpie Club Kit.

Scrap That Song

Today's the Macy's Day Parade:


I have had this LO in my head ever since I took this picture. "Macy's Day Parade" is a song by Green Day (my fave band). My hubby and I make a point of singing along to it on Thanksgiving every year. When Skylar was so excited about watching the parade, I took a picture just so I could incorporate this song onto a LO! And when this challenge came along and I hadn't done the LO yet, it seemed like the perfect time to scrap this pic!

Bling and An Announcement

I am so excited to announce my first Sketch Design Team position! I am now a member of the DT at The Everyday Scrapper.
