Vintage Cigar Box

A few weekends ago I went with some creative friends to a little workshop at The Crafty Scrapper taught by the very sweet DeeDee Roe. It was SO much fun - everyone's project turned out so differently. There was so much creative energy in the room with everyone doing her own thing (here's the original class sample - scroll down to the cigar box).

Here's my project:

Playing Dollhouse

When I saw this sweet little unfinished wooden doll house, I knew I HAD to have it...even if I didn't know what I was going to do with it. Yet.

Then, as I thought about it, I decided it was perfect for Crate Paper's Emma's Shoppe and Toybox lines because they both incorporate a toy theme.

I decided to paint and decorate the dollhouse and make two minibooks to "live" inside. An Emma's Shoppe book (which I posted yesterday) for the upstairs and a Toybox book to for the downstairs.

Love that the girl on the back of my album peeks through the window!

I will post the downstairs book as soon as it's completed!

My Sweet Little Baby Doll

Crate Paper's Emma's Shoppe line was my absolute favorite release at the last CHA. I'm so excited that I finally got to sit down and play with it!
