Anthologies Connection April DT Work - Butterfly Shadowbox

For my last DT project, I made a 2.5 inch x 2.5 inch box out of the blue cardstock and used the chipboard butterflies as a front and back. I made hinges out of the cardstock so that the front butterfly opens like a door to reveal the scene inside made with green cardstock for grass, butterflies punched from the Prima paper on more green wire stems, flowers (from the blue flower trim) on fabric stems, a chipboard bird suspended from the top with thread, and dragonflies cut from an Anthologies bag.

  1. You were thinking inside the box...I love the diarama. It looks like a scene from "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids." Good job on all the imaginative works of art.
